Mobile phones arrived in Kerala on September 17, 1996, with Escotel as the first operator. As mobile technology advanced, the demand for skilled professionals in sales and repairs grew significantly. Recognizing this need, SIMS Technologies was founded in 2001 in Calicut by Shaji Mohammed to train mobile phone technicians and create job opportunities in the field.
For the past 24 years, SIMS has been a leader in technical education, producing thousands of skilled professionals. The institute not only provides job placements but also offers continuous training on industry updates and lifetime support for students. With a focus on affordable fee structure and imparting quality education, SIMS has proliferated with more than seven branches across Kerala, each constructed with a dedicated team of scholars.
SIMS proudly reflects on its history of empowering students and forming careers as it approaches its 25th anniversary. Next year, SIMS, which has a long history of success, will celebrate its Silver Jubilee, a significant occasion in technical education and skill development.
